I am officially in LOVE with Winter Weddings!!! Every aspect of Jen & Kyle’s day was an absolute dream! I felt like I was in a Nicholas Sparks movie and it was SO fun to capture!!
As I pulled up to Jen’s house I was instantly flooded with so many childhood memories. Jen & I went to the same elementary school and had various play dates at her house as kids. It was so fun to reminisce on that season of life!
Jen had a gift from Kyle that she opened before getting into her beautiful wedding dress. His letter could not have been more beautifully written and there was not a dry eye in the house as she read it aloud. These are the moments I can’t believe how blessed I am to capture that I know this couple will remember and reflect on for the rest of their lives. Along with this sweet love note Kyle included a necklace with his birthstone so he would always be close to her heart. His birthstone matched the bridesmaid dresses making it the perfect touch to Jen’s outfit. Witnessing this moment was easily one of my favorite parts of their day!
Jen & Kyle decided to do a first look at the Quabbin Reservoir. I absolutely love first looks for so many reasons, but if these first look pictures do not convince you of why then I don’t know what will! It was such a special moment and the Quabbin made for the perfect backdrop with the beautiful mountains and water. Our portrait session was easily some of my favorite images I have ever taken of the bride and groom! And although I am not a fan of cold or snow…even I have to admit the snow was the perfect touch to this day!
The Lord Jeffery Inn is where Jen & Kyle had their reception. Everything about this venue is stunning!! I can’t even begin to tell you how fabulous all the vendors were that helped make this day so special! JPod Films was one of these awesome vendors who Jen & Kyle chose for their videographer. I can’t wait to see this wedding video because their is no doubt it will be beautiful! During the reception Kyle & Jen surprised their guests with a video that JPod Films created with them over the summer. It was so unique and my favorite part of the day! This video of their love story included so many unique aspects that made their love so special. I HIGHLY recommend looking into this if you are planning a wedding…it was so beautifully done! And once again their was not a dry eye in the house.
Thank you Mr & Mrs Belanger for trusting me to capture your beautiful day!
