I cannot say enough positive things about these two and their beautiful wedding!! Jaime and Matt have been SO much fun to work with and have shown us so much appreciation. We are very thankful for couples like them and it was such a joy to be their wedding photographer!
They put a lot of work into the little details and it showed…they were beautiful!! There was everything from handmade centerpieces, Matt’s love note on her shoe, engraved ring box, flower pot gifts to the parents, ceremony letters, hand packaged/delicious favors & so much more! And I am a big fan of DIY and personal touches so her style was right up my alley! I think my favorite sentimental detail was their ceremony letters. Matt & Jaime wrote letters to each other to be opened on their 5 year anniversary. So 5 years from now, they will read the letters written on their wedding day, and write new letters to be opened at their 10 year anniversary…and so on. My favorite “fun” detail was diffidently the apple cider donut favors from Randalls Farm (where we did their engagement session a year ago)! It was such a perfect idea for fall and the caption read “all you need is love and maybe a donut”…can’t argue with that! Their fun and loving personalities showed through their beautiful and thoughtful details.
Jaime & Matt decided to do a FIRST LOOK! These are my favorite!! I LOVE the pictures from their first look and his reaction was priceless. Seeing the groom’s reaction when he sees his bride for the first time is hands down, always my favorite part of every wedding. First looks always make for a stress free day giving plenty of time for an amazing bride and groom portrait session and a little time to relax and debrief before the ceremony.
Their ceremony and reception was at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, Massachusetts. This was my first wedding with Tekoa and I cannot say enough good things about them!! We get to visit a lot of venues, but Tekoa blew me away! The grounds were beautiful and Tori, their event coordinator, made sure everything was running smoothly and on time. And that food….oh my goodness! Jaime insisted we eat and I am so glad she did! They had a taco bar, pasta/salad bar, baked potato bar, & beef with bread sticks. Each corner had one of these items it was delicious and unique! And as if that was not enough their favors were apple cider donuts…somehow Andrew walked out with 4, but I guess that’s not a bad way to end the night!
Thank you so much Jaime & Matt for choosing us to capture your special day!!
